Few days ago CKN Nigeria published a report on what we termed “A Show of Shame” as displayed by Ms Kemi Olunloyo at the funeral of Nollywood actress,Bisi Komlafe..

The lady was captured posing with celebrities and most importantly with the coffin of the deceased..That post has generated a whole lot of controversy.

At about 9.26pm Nigerian time on Tuesday 8^thJanuary 2013, CKN Nigeria newsroom received a phone call from  Ms Kemi Olunloyo who expressed her disappointment with our story.

According to her, she has received several phone calls across the globe from the high and mighty on our story which she said painted her in bad light.

She insisted that what she did was a professional job as someone who has been into “Journalism” for 29 years.

She accused CKN Nigeria of lifting the pictures from her facebook page without due credit.

According to her, she is well connected in the society..She claimed to be a personal friend to two former Heads of State, Gen Ibrahim Babangida Rtd and Olusegun Obasanjo (whom she said brought the story to her notice yesterday).

In conclusion, she wanted the pictures to be credited to her.She went further to state that she presently has 10,000 followers on facebook and over 200,000 followers on twitter.

Furthermore she claimed to be a columnist with Tribune Newspaper.

She wouldn’t speak further on her deportation from Canada which according to her is already in the public domain. She finally said she has uploaded her interviews at Bisi Funerals on Youtube, where several celebrities commended her.

Editor’s Note:We still stand by our condemnation of the fragrant display by Ms Olunloyo at the event especially the posing with Bisi Komolafe’s coffin (A lady old enough to be her younger sister).Such display is alien to our culture .Bisi’s burial should be more of a sober reflection rather than an avenue to celebrate stardom..As to the claim that we picked the pictures from her facebook page,we duly informed her that the pictures were sent to us by several of our I Reporters and if she still wants to be credited for it, she will have it..

CKN...must u put it on print, if she did it without knowledge of its effect, must u guys paint it againt her. I wonder if this is what journalism is all about. We should learn to be our brother's keeper sincerely. All I can say here is that you're trying to pull her down to gain publicity....its not fair!

CKN,as far as am concern,you guys are making hip out of nothing. Its ovious that the publisher of this papper has personal beaf with this woman,and should not use us the public to settle their beaf with this woman. Do you want her to be crying while snaping these pictures? Is the one that kill the death person?is she the only one in the pictures? you Guys are lucky cos she is a nice person. If am the one I will approach the nearest High Court and file my pappers against you for defermation. If you people don't want us to read your papper again tell us. Is this the very essence of jornalism? Stupid papper.
