WHY I MADE NIGERIANS DOWNLOAD EXCLUSIVE BISI KOMOLAFE FUNERAL COVERAGE ON I-TUNES.

I walked in solidarity with Muyiwa Ademola
I was introduced to Taiwo Hassan by City People magazine
Sodiq Balogun and also Dejo in background

The Late Bisi Komolafe

Nigerians are so Loki>>Local, a word they use for uneducated ppl. I never followed Hollywood in the 30 years I lived in the US so why would I follow Nollywood? I'm not interested in MOVIES and haven't been in a movie theater 15 years. A movie star died in my hometown and I attended the funeral to cover it for HIPHOSSIP MUSIC AND MEDIA GOSSIP BLOG and Nigerian Tribune who I partner with in the entertainment column. What did I get, local illiterates slamming me for covering the funeral bcos Bisi Komolafe was old enough to be my child.

Are u all INSANE?
I didn't go there to CRY!
I dont know her or her family
I am a Journalist there to intv stars and fans
reacting to her death.

IN NORTH AMERICA, MEDIA WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN THAT CHURCH, FANS WILL ONLY BE OUTSIDE AND NO COVERAGE OF WHAT WAS GOING ON IN THERE.

As soon as ppl started blogging me as a show of shame, what hurt me most is that everyone seemed to like my coverage but yet slam me. They saw me following a photog from City People and a BCOS TV man all over the church and outside but they had no idea I was a  Reporter. All they saw was Kemi taking photos with the stars. I did not know any of them or their names and the City People camera guy told me who to snap and intv. After sharp criticism, I removed the video from YouTube and put it on I-tunes. I got 4,157 downloads at $2 each and today I am $8000 richer.

Nigerians pls use common sense!!
If u cant appreciate a simple Journalist covering an event for you FREE, then BUY the coverage. It was a lesson I had to teach. The vid is back on YouTube. Times are changing now. Social media pays my bills and I have a job to do as a well trained Journalist if the situation permits. I wanted this young lady to be known Internationally. The hashtag I created for her that day was #2 in Lagos.
