- Charlene Williams Gyorffy Why can't you just call the Orangeville Police? The number is plastered everywhere.December 17 at 8:39am ·
- Maggie Wells who would do such a thing to call and leave a message like that and then never calls back this needs to be dealt with. Cant you trace the email that was sent to you. We need to get this person off our streets.December 17 at 8:45am ·
- FIND Sonia Varaschin's KillerCharlene, did you read the STATUS? I called this police department 3 times yesterday and I'm not calling again. They have my # in all 3 messages. I don't need to appeal to a police department to Call me. I run this page for awareness and if... this is the page that breaks this case for the Varaschins, they need to utilize it. A cop taught us to use this FBML tip tab on all pages and many ppl don't. We do and now they are not doing their part. I'm not an FBI profiler but a crime victim advocate. The answer may be as simple as returning my call.See MoreDecember 17 at 8:45am · 1 personLoading... ·

- FIND Sonia Varaschin's Killer @Maggie, the police have methods to trace these things but it was very encoded. I can't reveal more. It's not even about who sent it. It is about WHAT was sent! It is vital info.December 17 at 8:54am ·
- FIND Sonia Varaschin's Killer I have left a message with a high ranking person @ T.O Police homicide. They will pass it along. Every tip matters! Let us keep our fingers crossed and keep the dialogue open. Remember the moron is also likely reading this.December 17 at 9:21am ·
- FIND Sonia Varaschin's KillerLisa, dont even worry. I have been in touch with T.O Homicide. If Orangeville needs to call me they will. The message has been passed along. I hope something good comes outta this. Regardless, it wont bring Sonia back or even total closure ...but justice.

Unfortunately its about someone that has already passed. As much as 911 is an emergency service I don't think that's the right route unless the killer is in the residence with the person calling 911. To me that is a miss use of the service.December 17 at 9:34am via Facebook Mobile · 1 personLoading... ·
- FIND Sonia Varaschin's Killer @Amy, excellent valid point but if that MF was in my postal code and I have reason to believe, it's gonna be 911!. Hey, they didn't profile much yesterday except that it was a "he"...December 17 at 10:06am ·
- Amy Hunter-BelicThanks I went to school for 911 dispatcher and one of the biggest problems that was discussed was the misuse of the service and how it held up another issue that may require way more attention and be a life or death. The press release yest...erday wasn't anything the public didn't already know or figure out on their own. You would think the police could have released something "bigger". I have a good family friend that is a homicide detective with Peel regional and I understand things take time and their not like CSI but I think there's more they know they just need more evidence cause they want a strong case not one the lawyer can give a reasonable doubt. "Actus reas" I hope they tie this case together soon so everyone can feel safe again and so the family can have the final bit of closure they need to heal from this tragic incident.See MoreDecember 17 at 10:28am · 2 peopleLoading... ·
- FIND Sonia Varaschin's Killer@Susan and Matt, I could not tell who sent it. Very encoded. I sent it off to the T.O cops who will forward it. Sorry I can't even discuss the contents. It may compromise the investigation. Wish Orangeville police and Chief Tomei's folks w...ill make more efforts with tips and return calls. 2 weeks ago a kid was run over in the entertainment district and the killer fled to Sri Lanka. It took a tip for cops to make the arrest when he tried to sneak back in. All the while ppl thought he was hiding in the GTA. TIPS WORK!

- LeeAnn Lansdowne this is part of the promblem with Orangeville police..... they don't do there job..... look at all the mistakes over the past few years and they are piling up....sorry to say .....we have a real problem with our police dept.December 18 at 12:28pm · 1 personLoading... ·
- Kirst EmilioInstead of focusing our attention on what the police are doing wrong, ALL of our attention should be focused on finding a killer. I think it is a tragedy what happened, but its also ignorant to blame the people who protect us. It's unfortun...ate, and I know we all wish that the polices' efforts were focused solely on this case, but the truth of the matter is, we live in a world where tragedies occur to families everyday and police officers CANNOT be everywhere at once and solve every crime in the blink of an eye. Let's be respectful of Sonia's life, her family, and the individuals and police officers who are trying to bring some peace to her family. May God bless you all and fill your hearts with love & respect.

Hope they got the message. Imagine if there was no FB. There will be no clear forums to discuss much.December 19 at 12:00am ·
- Kirst EmilioI lived in Orangeville for 22 years of my life and have since moved to Alberta and have resided here for the past 4 years. I lived in a quiet, quaint, and peaceful town for all of my life and feel it is my duty to restore it to just that, e...ven if miles upon miles separate me.
My family brought me up with the teaching:
"God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference."
One may not be able to control the outcome of this case, but we can certainly fulfill our duty and play a major role in the hopes to bring closure to this horrific tragedy. It is our duty not to disrespect any individual or group of individuals- it get us nowhere! We need to come together and make a difference where we can. This means rallies, forums, awareness groups... if "we" are all feeling as if nothing is being done by others, then its time to step up and do something. I will take the first step and bring awareness to Sonia's death here in Alberta in hopes that I can reach someone... anyone. You know, all it takes is one person...See MoreDecember 19 at 1:34am · 2 peopleLoading... · - FIND Sonia Varaschin's Killer I tried to do a rally but everyone is scared. Only 6 ppl RSVP'd.
